Biography

London based saxophonist Graeme Blevins has enjoyed a varied career spanning many genres of music, from stadium pop concerts, contemporary classical to jazz explorations.

Born is Perth, Western Australia, Graeme completed undergraduate studies in Jazz performance at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) which included an exchange program to the Royal Academy of Music, a scholarship for study at the Australian National Academy of Music and principle study lessons from Graeme Lyall and Mark Walton. 

After a sabbatical in New York City, studying with Chris Potter and Seamus Blake, Graeme relocated to London in 2004. 

Since moving to Europe, Graeme has recorded and toured with many pop artists. These include album recordings and world tours with Phil Collins, Robbie Williams, Mark Knopfler and Kylie Minogue.  

Graeme has recorded many albums as a soloist including two albums with contemporary classical ensemble the “Delta Saxophone Quartet” and Graeme’s debut Jazz quartet Album “Monochrome” all released to critical acclaim. 

Graeme has also performed masterclasses for many educational institutions including the Royal College of Music, and is an Associate or the Royal Academy of Music (ARAM).
